Transportation strategy only creates value when it can be implemented. I founded Inglis Logistics to connect commercial opportunity, operational reality and the partners required to move freight successfully.
My mission is to help carriers, logistics providers and shippers turn complex transportation challenges into practical, measurable action. Whether the objective is profitable growth, lower freight costs, stronger service performance or a successful market launch, I provide independent advice grounded in how North American freight actually moves.
For more than 25 years, I have worked across rail, intermodal, truckload, logistics and commercial strategy, including senior commercial experience with CN. My work has included gateway development, major terminal expansion, temperature-controlled intermodal programs, transportation procurement, pricing strategy and business development.
That breadth allows me to understand both sides of the transportation relationship: how carriers operate, price and allocate capacity—and how shippers evaluate cost, service and risk.
Clients work directly with me from the initial assessment through implementation. I identify the opportunity, develop the business case, align the necessary carriers and strategic partners, and help move the recommended solution into operation.
The objective is not another report. It is a clear decision, an executable plan and measurable improvement.
Independent thinking. Senior-level attention. Recommendations built to be used.
